Public Meeting to be held Wednesday, March 20, 2019 in TJPDC’s Water Street Center
The Thomas Jefferson Planning District Commission (TJPDC) is hosting a public meeting on the 5th Street Trails Project on Wednesday, March 20 from 4:30 to 6:00 p.m. in TJPDC’s Water Street Center, 407 East Water Street.
The team has continued to work on the project design, which has undergone some changes since the public meeting held in March 2018. The site for the project is a triangle of land at the confluence of Biscuit Run and Moore’s Creek between 5th Street Station, 5th Street Station Parkway, 5th Street and Interstate 64.
A brief presentation is scheduled for 5:15 p.m. Materials will be posted for review and staff will be available to answer questions beginning at 4:30 p.m. TJPDC can stamp parking stubs for 2 hours of free parking in the Water Street Garage.
